Atlantic Gateway Fiddling Championships

Fiddlers from Atlantic Canada and the New England states are invited to participate in the annual "Atlantic Gateway Fiddling Championship". This event will be held on Saturday May 1 and Sunday May 2, 2010 at the Middle School in St. Stephen, New Brunswick. There will be two classes for entrants: Open and Under 14.

The top three contestants from the preliminary rounds for each class will compete for the following cash prizes on Sunday afternoon.

Open Class: First $1000 Under 14: First $300
Second $500 Second $200
Third $250 Third $100

There will be three entertainment sessions during the championship.

Saturday Afternoon 2:00-4:00: "Cross Border Extravaganza" Featuring entertainers from both sides of the border.


Saturday Evening 7:30-9:30: "Tribute to Fiddling Matilda"

Sunday Afternoon 2:00-4:00: "Landry Family and Friends"
